How to disable BIOS password

#1 Post by cmarti » Sat Mar 19, 2011 9:40 pm

When I got my X60 in 2006 I set the BIOS to prompt to ask for password when you turn on the laptop.

I do know the password and that is not the problem, the problem is that I would like to disable this now that my wife is using the X60 and she got tired on typing it every time.

How do I go with disabling it? Because it doesn't allow me to do it on the security BIOS settings.

Any advice?

Thanks
