I just got an X60s. The battery is shot. Are there different batteries (cell count) and different FRU#'s for the X60s?
Which do you recommend and how much is this going to cost me?
Thanks

Here are the different batteries:

Note: The numbers on the page above are Part Numbers, each of which has multiple FRU Numbers, depending on manufacturer.
The 4 Cell Enhanced does not change the contour of the machine, and yields 1/3 more time than the 4 Cell Slim. Expect approx. 2.5-3 hours with the 4 Cell Enhanced (based on 14 Watts at nominal activity using a 37 Watt-hour battery).
You might find 3rd party batteries which are as good as IBM/Lenovo ones, but the general experience is that such a find is unlikely. Check Amazon and Newegg for pricing.

How much battery life do you need? How much you pay will depend on where you buy it. If you buy directly from Lenovo, it'll be expensive. Usually the prices for a genuine battery are on ebay if you don't mind it coming over from China.
