HV121P01-100 v HV121P01-101 on the X61T

I have an X61T with the most basic XGA screen- 1024x768 no multitouch and 'd like to upgrade to an SXGA screen.
Searching and reading online, it seems the original/real deal (as opposed to "compatible" which I should avoid) are BOEHYDIS and that either model HV121P01-100 or the 101 will do, but a 100 is preferred for the X61T. As prices vary wildly, and with various FRU, PN, etc numbers floating around on the internet, would like to have some specifics on guaranteed part numbers before committing to what is for me a large investment. If it is the right BOEHYDIS model, does the FRU, PN, or any other number matter- are there different/additional components involved in the different part numbers?
Is the digitizer type of any importance ? I've read a screen without a digitizer should be avoided but also, conflictingly, have read that a digitizer may not be necessary in my case as I can just use my existing XGA screen's.
What/where would be recommended places for me to order from. I can accept delivery in UK or US. I can only find these things on a famous auction site from sellers in the Far East which wouldn't be my preferred option especially for an LCD. Is it not possible to order from Lenovo or an affiliate ?
Thanks for pointing me in the right way
