X60 Bios

#1 Post by Elwyn » Thu May 19, 2011 4:35 am

Looking at possibly getting an X60 in the family here and one advert that I have seen for a suitable machine states that the 'supervisor/admin password' in the BIOS is 'unavailable' and set but the user one is OK and it can be accessed and settings changed, except that some of the senior options are unavailable.

Can some kind soul tell me how this would affect me and what they think of the situation? Also, would it be possible for me to somehow reset the BIOS entirely so that there is not a password set?

TIA ;)

Contact forum user poshgeordie (in Newcastle upon Tyne).
He could help you sorting that out.
