Flash utility PH161700.EXE (only needed if you use the ISO image):
http://www.sendspace.com/file/g83uqv via http://forums.mydigitallife.info/thread ... post113652
UNetbootin (only needed if you use the ISO image):
http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/unetb ... latest.exe
Procedure for creating a USB disk from the ISO image:
1. Use 7-zip to extract the ISO image.
2. Use UNetbootin to write the ISO image to the USB disk.
3. Copy the flash utility to the USB disk.
4. Use UNetbootin to write the [BOOT]\Bootable_1.44M.img file to the USB disk.
5. Reboot, press F12, boot from USB disk.
6. Goto C:\, run F.bat
P.S. There is another modified BIOS which includes support for Dual-IDA, SATA II and SLIC at http://forum.notebookreview.com/lenovo- ... ost7480413, haven't tried it myself through since I'm using a spindling drive so enabling SATA II probably wouldn't make much of a difference, and I've heard there could be stability issue, especially if you use the dock's drive bay.

Re: BIOS 1.25 Whitelisted for X61 Tablet
Link to the bios on that forum is dead.
Anywhere else I can get a copy of the whitelist bios? (iso version)
Currently I'm using the other bios with sata ii support but I may want to purchase and use a dock.

Re: BIOS 1.25 Whitelisted for X61 Tablet
If you have Middleton's BIOS with SATA II, then you can also insert ANY wifi card with that BIOS.
No need for another one (there is none BTW).

Re: BIOS 1.25 Whitelisted for X61 Tablet
I didn't want to run into any possible issues because of the sata ii hack with the ultrabay in the dock, hence the need for a white listed only bios. If there isn't one, then oh well. Thanks.

Re: BIOS 1.25 Whitelisted for X61 Tablet
I found that 1.25 was unstable but 1.24 Middleton whitelisted bios was stable.
