Dear Experts,
can anyone tell me if *any* PCI-E HSDPA modem is compatible with the Lenovo X61T laptop?

I see on the ebay on sale a lot of PCI-E HSDPA modems like:
- Dell 5530
- HP UN2420
- HP UN24000
etc

besides the Sierra Wireless MC8775.

Are the non-Sierra Wireless HSDPA modems compatible at all with the Lenovo X61t?

I ask as I have a bricked 8775 at the moment and, if that cannot be brought back to life, I would like to buy a WWAN model which has also a GPS receiver active and working to show lat/long on the X61T on the move.

Assuming the X61 Tablet is just a tablet version of the X61, see this thread...

is there any HSDPA card that someone is using with the X61t, which also includes an easy to use GPS function?
I have already a modified BIOS for my X61T, so I assume it can receive different brands of cards.

Just looking for suggestions on one easy to setup and make work.
