x61 screen recommendation

I just cracked my lcd today and I was wondering if anyone had advice on a replacement, i plan on having the laptop for at least another 2 years so quality would be nice. I read about an upgrade to a higher res screen but I dont know how much work that is. I see some aftermarket ones on ebay and I am unsure about the quality. BTW my part numbers for my screen are Hydis 13N7094 R N; Hydis 42T0435 R N; Samsung 13N7096 R N; CMO 42T0343 R N

It is possible to upgrade to an SXGA+ LCD in an X61, but it may not be worth the trouble/expense. See this thread.

If you are going to replace the current XGA LCD with another, make sure to get an original Lenovo FRU. I just ordered a brand new Samsung 13N7096 off of EBay for $86 shipped. If you are patient there are deals to be had. If you are in a hurry, I can recommend this seller -
