installing windows 7pro32 ensure most X60 tablet functions?

Hi, I was thinking of getting a X60t with SXGA display (pen only input) - I wanted to know that if upgrading to windows 7 32 professional - will all the necessary driver/hot key buttons for the tablet be functional? Is the trackpoint ok as well? Or will I need to manually update some from IBM's site? I came across a few posts here that were dated a few years prior, but I am not sure if the new OS updates include some of these missing factors. I think most of the tablet pen inputs should be native to the OS -
Also, will I be able to boot from an external CD/DVD drive via USB to complete the installation process?
Some ebay listings mentioned that their system bios access is locked, and I will only find out when receiving this - what limitations would I have by not accessing this? I have not seen what things there are in this particular unit's bios menu. Will USB boot automatically (i.e. if I have an external dvd/cd drive or USB flash stick) in such a situation? I had read of some workarounds, but they seem to be out of the scope of my doing and capability. Lastly, if there was a BIOS update available via IBM/Lenovo - would I be able to install this from the windows OS somehow in that particular situation?
One other question out of curiosity - how is flash video playback on this particular unit (i.e. from a wireless a/b/g perspective on streaming 1080p youtube video - apart from factors i.e. network bandwidth capability)
Thanks for any input regarding these inquires.
