Hi all,
Just brought a x60 off Market Place here, installed XP SP3 and all the drivers that I can think of, everything seems fine, there is one unknown device in Device Manager, which appears to come from an Intel 82801GBM (ICH7-M) LPC Interface. I looked up the part and in Intel it says it has something to do SATA, does not sound right. Wonder if anybody has ideas what this might be and where can I get a driver for it. Thanks.

See Intel Matrix Storage Manager under Hard drive header.

Tried that, but did not solve the problem. First I tried just running install (it's a DOS Prompt NT script), did not change anything, then I tried Update Drivers and direct the search to the directory, but got cannot find any software for this hardware. Thanks.

According to a post at the Lenovo Forums, it's the Atmel TPM system: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T61-and-pri ... td-p/11727

That seems to do it. I did have a little hiccup: after installing TPM (I already have IMSM installed), there was no longer an unknown device, but I ended up with two instances of TPM, one of which has the yellow ! on it. Tried to update driver on that, but it came back with what I already installed is good. So I just uninstalled the TPM with the yellow !, and now everything appears to be "happy".

Thanks for the help.
