Hi guys,

I just acquired a 7762-CTO x61t in pristine condition, however without the stylus.

The x40t and x60t (will they work on the x61t?) are around 100 US, which is a tad expensive:

As far as I can understand on the net, I can use among others, Wacom's styluses for the x61t.

I will be using it primarily to draw math and chemistry symbols, and will need something I can draw with + an eraser on the other end. I plan to use Win Xp and OneNote, but am quite new in this field.

Can you recommend any of the following?

And do they all have an eraser? Or what should I otherwise look at?

And how do they connect? Via USB and wire or bluetooth?

X61t original stylus on eBay ca. $40.-
The X41t and X61t styli are different.
Probably work on each other, but won't fit properly in the other machine.

X4x and X6x styluses (Styli ?) do work on each others machines, but the x4x does not have an eraser tip, nor does it dock in the chassis.
I picked up my new one for the x60t from ebay for £20 - which is around $35 I think

Thank's for the replies everyone.

So just to be sure, the top black part on this item is an erasor?

This is an image of an X60t/X61t pen/stylus:

Notice the silver bit on the top, that's the eraser.
X41t does not have an eraser, see below:

Thanks you for the clarification.

Is it just not the case then that the eraser on the item I linked to is just black and not grey?
It does mention the part number and says that it is the original stylus for among others the x61t.

I don't know and I don't have an x60t/x61t (only an x41t), someone else may chime in.

The title says it's a W700 stylus, and someone from this thread (http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/W-Series-Th ... td-p/72091) says they use the same one.

Mine's eraser is grey in colour.

Cheers.
