removing x61s wwan antenna

hi,

i'm looking at an x61s in ebay that has the wwan antenna on the right side of the screen. is it possible to remove it, it looks ugly and i don't need it. is it going to leave holes/marks on the side of the screen?

You can remove the WWAN antenna after removing the LCD bezel, and cover up the opening with a "blank" -- if you can find the "blank" somewhere!

However, you may wish to reconsider -- reinstalling the LCD bezel is likely to give you trouble if you have not done it before, and chances are you will not find the "blank". My advice: get the machine, live with it a while, and do surgery only after you decide that you must.

thanks, i guess i will look at the other deals in ebay. i really dont like the antenna
