The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

That is correct.
I see one major exception. If your computer is directly connected to a public NAS drive that is self-hosted (by static IP address or by domain name) then you may self-host instead of using imgur (a popular "free cost" option). You may not host your pictures, esp. REALLY big ones, directly on this site*.

*And you must use links to your image, wherever it is hosted. Do not sub-post your hosted image directly into your posts.
