Where to get basic images of keyboard, etc to use as template for custom skin?

#1 Post by pickleback_mountain » Thu May 02, 2019 3:52 am

I want to try designing my own key covers or skins to use with different keyboard layouts. Is there anywhere I might find some kind of diagram of the T580 (P52s) keyboard? Just a nice, clean, basic image of correct scale that I can mess around with in image editing software, and possibly take to my mom's vinyl-cutting machine. (Any keyboard model that's superficially the same would also do - I think the E580, any others?)

And in general, is there a source for similar images of the bezel, touchpad, etc? All the shops making model-specific laptop decor must get their templates somewhere.

No picture is ever accurate.
Buy e.g. one of these skins: https://www.ebay.com/itm/223485727825
Or get the keyboard itself: https://www.ebay.com/itm/133026205266
