This is my absolute favorite piece of information that almost no one knows or even understands. Not only is it amusing to read or ponder, but it's freakin' true!

In all my years of hard drive swapping, cloning and HPA restoring, I only came across one drive that didn't support BEER/PARTIES and I couldn't believe it until I Googled it. I do not remember the model.

Let's just say I was ready for a BEER or PARTY after that waste of time!

Seriously, BEER/PARTIES will be a Final Jeopardy answer when they finally have Jeopardy for Geeks.
This is too funny. When i tried to lookup BEER PARTIES and Architecture, i got this:

Political party, National Socialist German Workers' Party (1921–1945) ... In 1923,
Hitler attempted a coup d'état, known as the Beer Hall Putsch, at the ..... In Munich
, he further pursued his interest in architecture and the writings of Houston ...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler - Cached - Similar

That's what you get when combining Beer, parties and architecture!

I guess this is another reason I skipped the entire T40 series.

By the way, RG there are two pre HPA categories, one with recovery CDs and another with service partitions (and some, notably T30s, with both!)
