T61 Bluetooth Woes

Hey guys,

I have an almost-perfect T61 Lion 10.7.5 install. I have almost everything working minus one annoying thing: bluetooth.

If I boot into Windows and use the Fn key to start Bluetooth, I can get bluetooth functionality in OSX. However, once I sleep, it kills the bluetooth light and hardware.

What I would like is a DSDT edit so that Bluetooth is initiated at boot, and also on wakeup from sleep. Also, my bluetooth cannot be turned off because it's being recognized as a generic Apple BT device. I tried editing the broadcom kext with my DevID and VendorID but I saw other issues (many many BT devices in my registered list being generated, also it would sometimes not work). Can the bluetooth be natively used also by a DSDT edit?

I'm hoping someone here is an expert with the T61 and can help me. Thanks.

EDIT: By the way, I plan on creating a guide for my 10.7.5 install. I haven't tested WiFi yet (still have an Intel card), but other than that, everything is perfect. This is my third hackintosh and definitely one of the best.

I turn off bluetooth from the bios of my T61 and X61 thinkpads... and use one of these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6833139027

(tiny iogear USB bluetooth 4.0 adapter)

It works native in ML and Mavericks, and works in Lion and Snow Leopard by adding device id's to the bluetooth kext.
It has BT 4.0, so Apple Magic Trackpad works perfectly, with all gestures working.
Sleep and wake work fine while this adapter is plugged in.

Since I made this post (quite a while ago), I fixed my Bluetooth issues. The problem was the DSDT I was using, and my solution to fix it was to start with a fresh one and make edits myself.

Now, my T61 on ML 10.8.5 Bluetooth works, most of the time. I say most of the time, because sometimes it will not work after sleep mode. However, I don't use bluetooth a lot, and a restart does not take long. However, when it does work, I've been able to use my magic trackpad with it with no issues.

Also, I have one of those bluetooth adapters that I use on a hackintosh desktop computer I have. I can also vouch that it works perfectly with ML and Mavericks :)
