Could someone help me out with installing OSX on my ThinkPad X201T? I burned iAtkos ML2 to a DVD-DL and tried installing from there. The installation seemed to be going fine until it gets to 2 minutes remaining, then it gets stuck. The last thing in the log is something about installer.mkg or something like that. If I change the install options the same thing happens. I thought maybe the DVD had an error, so I reburned it and the result was the same

Both times I used a MacBook to burn the DVDs. Incase it matters, I've been trying to install to a 64GB SDcard. Any advice? I haven't tried any distros other than iAtkos. Maybe I should.

Intel HD1000 (Ironlake) has no OSX support. Even if you managed to get it to install and run. You would have no gpu support and acceleration.

Not surprisingly, I found that installing to the SD was the root of most of the install problems. (see what I did there. okay, fine, its a bad pun).
Installing to a hard drive partition worked alot better. I need to get the bootloader working properly and a few parts of the OS (like sound.) I saw a thread on insanelymac that claimed to get acceleration with Intel HD in X201, but I will have to look into that further. Unfortunately there is no driver for Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 wifi.

If you have access to a mac which can install Mountain Lion and an external drive dock, then try installing to a disk from that. Run the kext and bootloader installation on the external drive then slot that into the laptop.
I had some problems with USB/CD media not working on a couple of laptops and failing for random reasons. This technique worked on all of them where there wasn't a show stopping driver issue.
