Can someone repost Madara-san's Extra folder for nvs 140m? The Extra2 folder shows my gpu as fx 570m 256mb... plus I'm not sure if it's related but my gpu seems to be running pretty hot (shoots up to 85-90 C when using netflix or youtube).

Everything else seems to working well thanks to all amazing help on this thread  I'm running 10.9.2 and have AC5 on the chips.

.. the old link is not working anymore :(

hmm.. using this Extra folder shows T9500 as 2.4GHz and the GPU as fx 570m 256GB instead of nvs 140m.

also the fan doesn't activate when hitting the blue thinkvantage button.

What is the 7-character TYPE on the bottom of your T61?
Looks like TYPE 6464-WG6.
It should match with what is shown in the BIOS.

I thought you need the DSTS file for the 2.6ghz and nvs 140m recognise.

It says 8892-02U and matches the numbers in the BIOS.

Yeah, I think you misunderstood me :) Basically what I was trying to say was that when I used the Extra folder that you posted, osx is showing my T9500 cpu as 2.4GHz (instead of 2.6 or 2.59GHz) and my gpu (nvs 140m) as fx 570m 256gb instead.

I just checked my machine, and my T9500 does work at 2,59 Ghz on Mavericks. However, the NVS140 is also recognized as a Quadro FX 570M. I would swear it showed NVS 140 in the past.
Recently I opened the App store and my machine was updated to 10.9.5 (I wasn't paying attention), and since then some things are changed. However the machine still works like a charm.

Hmm I see. Does both sleep and regular sleep work correctly? And does the blue thinkvantage button trigger the fan?

Sleep does not work, but the blue vintage button does trigger the fan.

After further analyse my T9500 is also stuck @ 2.4 Ghz. It seems like it is running all the time @ 2.4 Ghz and doesn't run on lower clock speeds.
I searched this topic and this can be corrected with a modified boot loader file for Chameleon. This was available on http://yaodi.zzl.org/boot but that url is dead :(

I found this post, it seems user jzhang18 fixed this issue. I sent him a PM, hopefully he can share this bootfile again. Or perhaps somebody else still has this file and can share it?

My frankenpad also seems to have an issue w the fan not kicking in when it should (as temps get higher) until i click on the HWMonitor's dropdown stat.

This could be dangerous since the laptop can overheat without you knowing until it's too late.

Anyone have similiar issues as this? Any fixes?
