OS X on W700 or W701 (or even W500)?

#1 Post by Hierax_ca » Mon Nov 24, 2014 8:06 pm

I was wondering if a Hackintosh OS X Lion or Mountain Lion for a Thinkpad W700 or W701 (or even a W500) can/has be(en) done?

Now, the 17" MacBook Pros from late 2011 are pretty awesome huge 1920x1200 screen but the Thinkpad W700-series are even better (Trackpoint, Keyboard, UltraBay, RAM, etc.), can I get one of my existing W-series Thinkpads to run my OSX stuff instead of buying an expensive MacBook?

Ideally, the 17" W701, which is from the same era, but, if not possible, I guess a 15" 1920x1200 (or 1600x1200) could work well too.
