Hi everyone,
Just for fun, I want to partition my drive to have Mac OS and Windows 10 - is this possible? Would Catalina be faster than WIn 10? How can I do this?
Thanks!

Oh, and yes, I have a 2012 MacBook Pro, and no, I don't have the RAM to use Virtual Machine.

It might be possible, but you should expect some devices to not have drivers available. This is an unsupported configuration, after all.
I doubt so. I've seen some reports of Mid 2012 MacBook Pro models struggling to run it, and clearly that does not look bright for a machine that is even older.
This
guide could help, but I cannot guarantee that everything would work.

Thanks! My Macbook runs it fine. I'll try the link you sent. Would something older like High Sierra be more ideal?

Unfortunately, I have no idea. While it does look better on paper as it does support the old 2009 models, I would not exactly trust their requirements.
Many years ago, I used to have an iBook G3 'Clamshell' SE 466 that ran Tiger. It was the latest Mac OS X version that was supported by my Clamshell, but it ran Tiger at a pace of a turtle. Even with a 128 GB DuraDrive ET4 (FEK128MJ2E) and 576 MB of PC66 RAM, it was still very sluggish at best.
