OS X on Parallels for PC

#1 Post by krmesser » Sat Jul 22, 2006 10:18 am

Just wondering if anyone has tried to install the OS X under Parallels in VM mode and if that would abstract out some of the setup problems to run OS-X on a T60?

Don't know about Parallels, but I was able to install 10.4.6 (HOTiSO) under VMware Workstation on my X60s. Didn't work with 10.4.8 (JaS), however.

FWIW, I could not get OS X to run on parallels...its a shame because parallels is an awesome piece of software.

If your not too worried about partitioning then I would suggest to install OS X natively. After initially using vmware to load the image I quickly saw how laggy the OS was inside vmware. However, after native install everything is much quicker!
