OS-X 10.4.6

During the install it gets to the point(after you agree to all that stuff and select your language) where it asks which disk it should install on...but it doesn't show any disk for me to select.
I'm assuming it just doesn't recognize it...

is this because my harddrive is not in the right format?

if yes, then what tool do you recommend i use to format it over to the correct format?

ps...there will ONLY be OSX on this harddrive...it won't be dual booting windows or anything else

thanks!

at the top menu bar, go to like utilities or something and select Disk Utility. You can then erase the disk and partition it as HFS+ to use it! :)
