Mac OS X on PC - step-by-step guide

sorry to put such a dumm topic here:

I found here some time ago link to a great step by step guide how to istall Mac OS X. I remember something about need to connect to pins in VGA port using a staple in this guide.

I didn't save the link though so I just wanted to ask u whether someone has the link and could share it.

Snowii, I've installed it on my t30 and t60 and didn't have to staple anything Just format the drive to journaled, or the partition you want and go. As you have read there are some features that won''t work but that's just the way it goes.

and would you recommend any particullar installation process?
as a user who did not follow all the news in "OSX on PC" area I am kind of lost in this zillionof guides and dunno which one to choose

What machine are you using? And, do you have OSX on a CD?

I have created a blank partition on the same drive as windows and also used a blank HD (both ways work), stick in the OSX cd and follow the install process, when it ask you where to install
"WTF" click on disk utility and format the partition or drive to "journaled" then the partition or drive will show up in "where to install OSX". Click on the drive and follow the rest of the install process.

You also need to make sure your processor is SSE, there is a link back in this conference to check that out.

This is kind of quick because I have to go but good luck and if at first you don't succeed, try try again

I ve got Asus M6Va (but going toget X60 tablet soon hopefully )

mine current config is:
PM750 - 1,8GHz
1GB DDR2 RAM
80gig PATA HDD
Ati X700 with 1400x1050
Intel abg wifi
ac97 sound
marvell gigbit ethernet wired

I'm pretty sure it will run on the X60 no problem.
