CI & QE on a T43p running V3200 on PCIe??

I have a T43p with a V3200 graphics card.
I have followed the various tutorials about getting the graphics driver working. I have got it running at 1600x1400 but I have not managed to get CI or QE working. In osX its reporting my gfx card as a PCIe one rather than a PCI which is what people seem to have working.
Has anyone here got a V3200 working properly in 10.4.8?

I have tried hex-editing a 10.4.x kext as the 10.4.8 hex does not appear to have the string you need to search for. I have also updated the Info.plist file with 0x5B601002 became 0x31541002.
