good news the wifi is running on X31 the only modification is:
in a console
1-sudo nano /System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AirPortAtheros5424.kext/Contents/Info.plist
2-give your password
3- search an array with this text:
" <string>pci106b,0086</string>
<string>pci168c,1c</string>"
add this line:
<string>pci168c,1014</string>
push CTRL O and CTRL X (save and exit)
reboot and WIFI is working
This modification is available for wireless intel a/b/g pci card may be other wifi parts can be in some X31
and now all my X31 is running on OS X and with a "triple boot"

I got the video card to run ok, with callisto 003 version. It can at least run 3d stuff like chess. But watching movies is still bad and vlc wouldn't work.
videos such as youtube works ok

Hey hadrien001,
I have an X31 as well... installed 10.4.6 with all the patch and stuff. I tried to get my wireless card to work using the method your mentioned but OS X still wouldn't recognize it. Was there any other things you did to get it work? like deleting other kexts etc? FYI, when installing 10.4.6 I didn't choose to install any extra driver support (e.g. ATI, sound blaster and wireless support). Please advice.
Thanks

I would like to know about this as well...
I bet that OSX does not have the drivers for the Cisco wireless mini PCI adapters that the X31 had as an option. Take a look at the hardware used in current Intel-based Macs and its pretty clear what kind of hardware a PC would need to have. I'm surprised that the Mobility Radeon works with OSX.

Okay, I got 10.4.8 JaS SSE2 running - iwi2100 wireless drivers from iwidarwin semi-works (I can load it but every time I try to use it, it'll KP the machine), Pro100VE works, sound works, battery indicator does not, I got the AGP GART to work (Using AGPGART 2.0), got Callisto B6 to run, and I finally figured out how to make OpenGL to run properly.
The Radeon Mobility runs purely because one of the original Titanium Powerbooks have them, so support is grandfathered in, so to speak.
It's a good mental exercise to run OSX/86 on the machine, but the practical functionality is nearly nil as I cannot get it to speedstep/voltdrop or sleep on demand.

Is anybody capable of running an x31 on OSx86 WITH the sleep-mode support? I don't really care for sound and stuff as long as I can really use the machine INCLUDING sleep.
