OS 10.4.8 on X41, boot.plist can not be found

Dear all,

I'm trying to install the AMD/INTEL JAS 10.4.8 with v1p ppf and Ich7 from a burnt DVD. When i boot my x41 with the dvd, the system says "boot.plist can not be found" and there's a 8 sec count down to see more options, f8 and -v both take me back to "boot.plist can not be found". I googled the problem and haven't found any universal solution to it. Anyone can help me? Thank you!
