OSX Working great ThinkPad Z60t 2511-E7U

#1 Post by 68jimmy » Thu Nov 01, 2007 4:25 pm

Just wanted to post a note that I have completed my install of Jas' 10.4.8 on my z60t. Install went very smooth after which i had to follow some links on this site and insanelymac to get it all together.

So far I have the following working:

GMA900 running @768X1280 using the vga dongle method and NATIT drivers.
Broadcomm LAN (built-in)
Atheros WLAN with WPA2 personal encryption (MiniPciE card)
Bluetooth (built-in)

I have not yet tested the DVD-burner although it is recognized by system profiler as a writable device. And sleep has not been tested although with all of the sleep problems using non-apple hardware it may be a moot point.

Next is to back-it up and try the 10.4.9 or .10 updates...

Just wanted to say thanks to those who have done the real nitty gritty testing and posted their results.

enjoy!
