i know that most stuff works on a T60
but that doesnt help me since i have a T61.
a/b/g atheros for wireless
and a 140M Quadro for video card
stock sound card
stock ethernet card
if you have any of these working on your T61
please post the 3rd party drivers used, kexts, or whatever guide.
none of them work for me out of the box.

If you have the Atheros a/b/g (not the a/b/g/n), you've got the same wireless as the T60. See the
end of this thread.
Don't know about the rest.

Built in ethernet doesn't work. For video you can change resolution in the plist, but minimal VRAM (32MB). Audio is a work in progress. cheers - jl
got it to work

hey , i got the t61 14.1 wide..... it took me 9 hours to get it run, but now 10.5 is booting rithg.
bluetooth works out of the box...
i had to configure the display in boot config... 1440x900x32 , Nividia 140M ...
Sound looks like its installed, but there is no sound coming out.
both network connection ( wlan and lan ) are not shown at all.
since its pretty boring now with out network, i search for a solution for this now....
my install way :
i took the latest uphuck 10.4.9 v1.4i_r2 installed it on disk0s2 ... bootloader -> brazil patch -> iso-> dvd-> startet with -v install without nothing else ( no printer, language, x11)... bootet back in tiger after install -> postpatch -> kext natit fix -> configure the display in boot config... 1440x900x32 --> start verbose , done
4 hours later. lots of google, google and google again, i did NOT find working modules for networking and sound.
If anybody knows more please post !!!!
HARDWARE IN T61 = 4965 ( B / G / ( n-disabled ?! ), 82XXXIntel 1000Mbit ...

Neither your wireless nor your wired ethernet card are supported. For the wireless, you can replace the Intel 4965 with the Atheros-based 'ThinkPad a/b/g wireless' (easily found on eBay), or get a USB wifi dongle. For the wired connection, you might try a USB-ethernet adapter such as the Linksys USB200M which does have 3rd party OS X drivers.
