Here are some of the problems and solutions I had.
-Had 100GB hard drive, bought a new 200GB. Moving Vista is a pain!!! Used Acronis Disk Director Suite copied partitions. UGGGHH!! Skip doing that, just use Acronis True Image (you can download a trial and use it). Thanks to the stupid Windows RE partition #1 I had a real headache. If you aren't doing a clean install (want to keep your old vista-like I did), just trueimage bothto the new hard drive - don't waste your time.
-ToH install - worked easy, but would only boot with dvd
-Booting after ToH install - you have to, using the DVD - go into install, use terminal and enter:
/usr/misc/script.sh <Volume name of OSX install>
do it like 4 times in a row (it doesn't seem to work every time - and you have no way of knowing), also try going to disk utility and unmounting the partition you installed to, then back to terminal and run the script a couple more times.
--After install of OSX, you need to boot from Vista DVD and repair it. Then Acronis OSS can finally boot all three.
Leopard on my X60,
so far no tweaking, but wireless works, didn't check sound yet, taking a break, it was quite an ordeal. Look forward to tweaking in the future. If I can get this multitouch tablet screen working -WOW.
Any questions, I'd be happy to try to help. I don't know alot, but did spend alot of time on this
EDIT
Just installed EFI, was able to use apple update to 10.5.1
This is a little more tricky, but I finally got it working!
