Need to install OS X 10.4,or ideally 10.5? Dual-boot or VMWa

#1 Post by Crunch » Fri Mar 07, 2008 8:15 pm

Hey all, I installed VMWare today, and haven't figured out as to how to install OS X on it yet. I have the Workstation 6 version, and there is an option for every OS except Mac it seems...Is this even possible? :?: :?:

Thanks!!!! ;)

The was an article in Wiki for some versions of OS X:

http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index ... are_how_to

That may help a bit, although I have not tried it myself (only Windows and Linux systems as VMware guests). ... JDH

Thanks jdhurst! I had found that article and had hoped that it was from the pre-Leopard days, as I have OS X 10.5 Leopard. Hmm...

Well, it doesn't have to be under VMWare, but I would really like to run OS X, either Tiger, and ideally Leopard, in perhaps a dual-boot configuration??? Thanks to all!
