Hi
I have been on all the sites and cant figure out how to get my display to work. I have the T60 with the X1300 Video Card! I have tried everything that I read about. On the lcd of the laptop it is just a black screen, on my external display it tells me out of range. I have tried the command "Graphics Mode"=" command but it doesnt matter what I change it to... Please help I need to get this up today!
Thanks

I hear leo4all might be able to help you out. If you need it to work so much, you could probably buy a mac by tomorrow.

Wow...!
Can you change resolution in OSX? (with that X1300)
And what are the settings that you have chosen during installation?
i.e. you installed the X1400 driver?

With the X1400 driver on a X1300, do you have any mouse tearing problem then?

I'm pretty sure that you can change the resolution by editting some plist. It has been I while since I dabbled with OSX. I'm sure you can find something on the insanely mac forum about it.

I do have the mouse tearing problem, and that i dont know how to get away from. Also I have no audio, or DVD drive working.

There is a program you can use that would get rid of mouse tearing. I think it's called Mouse Locator. I remember seeing it on Insanely Mac Forums.

For audio of my T60, I followed the procedure below when I was in Tiger, and that same driver was installed when I use Kalyway 10.5.1 DVD
3) Audio fix (for audio out only)
Hardware:
SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio (Ven ID=11D4, Dev ID=1981)
UUA bus for HD Audio (Ven ID=8086, Dev ID=27d8)
3.1) Delete /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
3.2) Download AzaliaAudio.pkg.zip
Grab the zip file from here (link is in first post):
http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=36520
Unzip it and install AzaliaAudio.pkg.
3.3) Fix permissions and clear kext cache
3.4) Reboot
You should have stereo audio out working.

I tried that program... but that's not really getting rid of mouse tearing, and it is just working around the mouse tearing problem of an non-fully functioning graphic driver by messing the screen area around the mouse pointer by a transparent background, so that the tearing is covered up
I really hope a fully working driver for ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 and X1400 will be available later, so that I can change resolution by on menu, and plug in my widescreen monitor to work with the laptop screen side by side
