Working sound for X61/R61/T61!!!

And when I say working I mean speaker output only-- but hey it's a start! I take absolutely no credit for this at all-- Turbo from InsanelyMac developed this completely so let him know your appreciation!

He will likely continue work on it to support the other ports, but this is a gigantic step!

Now internal speakers work on my T61P (Type 6459-CTO).

If solution for NVidia Q570 will be found, I have a great fully functional
Mac OSX laptop.

:D

Anyone else have the problem where the sound just quits working after a few boots on 10.5.4? I've restored to my 10.5.3 backup, and updated again with the same symptoms. 2 other people have had the same problem. Anyone know why?

Yeah I'm also getting that same issue... really not sure what could be causing that at all.

I had that problem before with my T60p
and Kalyway 10.5.1 install

However with my current setup (10.5.2) on T61p no problem.
Internal sound works great and stable.

My wild guess - it could be kext permission related.
Try OSX86Tools Utility (I have v 1.0.148).

Run Tasks:
-Repair Permissions
-Set Extensions permissions
-Clear Extensions Cache

It should fix it.
