OS X 10.5.1 Kalyway on X61s - loads only in safe mode

#1 Post by iamdmc » Mon Oct 27, 2008 2:30 pm

So I finally got it to install correctly (I'm not sure how) but it won't load into Mac OS X normally (it just freezes at the Apple grey boot screen). When I type "-x" it boots fairly quickly into safe mode, but that means I can't use WiFi...

Help?

yes, the 9mm SSD fits in the X220

I had this too, go into terminal (safe boot) and remove all your ATI kexts and you should be able to get into normal mode. You'll have to find other kexts for the gfx card though :(
