Kalyway OSX 10.5.2 About this Mac showing wrong Device ID

Hi all. I am really hoping you guys can help me out here. I have a T60P. 8742-CTO. I am trying to get the video working at full res 1680x1050 with QE/CI. I have found some Kexts "ATIv5250_kexts". I think I got them off this site.

When installed they will give me the resolution and QE/CI however all the menus turn black and you can't see anything. I managed to check the "About this Mac" and brought up the Graphics Info. It reports the incorrect Device ID. Mine is 0x71d4. I thought I could edit the ATIRadeonX1000.kext but noticed it already has my correct device ID amongst a few others. So I'm at a loss.

Wow.. only 8 views.. Hmm.. I thought for sure this would be the place to go. . I guess Not.. the Insanely mac site is a mess. Very difficult to search for some relevant info that pertains strictly to the T60p and OSX 10.5.2.

Oh well thats a bit disappointing.
