first, sorry about my english, it's sucks

did anyone's ati fireGL 5250 working perfect?

Can open QE/CI ? and if it can work with external display?

my 5250 card can work with external display (mirror mode) when don't modify the driver

but when i modify the driver open the QE/CI, it' don't working anymore

PS:I forgot where I download the driver, it's a zip flie includ about 5 files(ATIRadeonX1000GA.plugin ATIRadeonX1000GLDriver.bundle ATIRadeonX1000VADriver.bundle ATIinject.kext ATIRadeonX1000.kext ), I use kext helper b7 to install them.

and i found if i plugin the External Monitor before turn on the power and use Fn+F7 chang display mode before the mac os booting,it's can use the External Monitor,but the screen is Vibration（do you know i mean? just like tv with bad singal), and in System Preference can't detect the External Monitor.

but xternal Monitor is not work or just can work like this

I can only get my external monitor to work if I have it hooked up when i boot the laptop. Are you trying this?

hooked up？ your meaning is close the laptop display? I just try this ,external monitor can work perfectly（but can only work 1024*768,use other resolution display will be not full screen，the bottom of dock will be cut off，menu will down from the top of monitor），THX

but is there has perfect ways to let both monitor work?
