10.5.8 on X300 (coming from iAtkos v7 10.5.7) progress +woes

Hi,
this is my first post. I just started hackintoshing and wanted to share my experience as well as ask for help. As other posts deal with older releases I opened this new thread.
First thing I did was update bios to 1.10. Install from iatkos v7 10.5.7 was easy, though I needed several tries to get intial working (mostly) config. Auto online update screwed audio and bluetooth I think.

Status now:
- says 10.5.8, but I replaced kexts from 10.5.7; don't know how much 10.5.8 is truly left
- internal kbd, touchpoint, touchpad work (needed some x86 acpi I think)
- usb (external cardreader and kbd and mouse) work (out of box)
- audio: speaker out works, internal mic works not, headset in/out works not
- bluetooth did work, not anymore (a friend did toggle the backside switch; still visible and working under linux but not with OSX; but maybe it was the 10.5.8 update that broke bt, dunno)
- ethernet works with 1 MBytes/s via nfs (approx 35 MBytes/s under linux)
- wlan does not work (still with original intel 4965 mini pcie card)
- power: runtime in idle after login with firefox is 2 1/2 hours on fully charged 6 cell battery (linux gives short of 4 hours)
- speedstep seems to work, at least cpu-x.app shows varying MHz)
- disk speed (used 'time dd' to measure) gives approx. 20 MBytes/s whereas linux gives about 80 MBytes/s on internal ssd
- graphics: works with the x3100c.pkg on the iatkos dvd on internal display at 1400x900 ok. Same resolution when started with -x (safe mode).
- second display does not work: screws both screens with bit garble; after removing second display internal graphics is foggy and only upper left quarter is scaled to screen real estate
- sleep does not work: re-awakens immediatelly and screen is garbled (like after removing second display see above)

I come from a 450Mhz Cube so performance overall ist still a smasher to me (but when compared to linux that's different)

What I need dearly is wlan and graphics:
- working wlan: can anyone cofirm atheros based FRU 42T0827 (or 42T0825) with chip ar5bxb72 works with bios 1.10 and under OSX?
- else any recommendations for easy plug and play cards (I do not want to also alter the bios if not absolutely neccessary - too many hassles already)
- graphics x3100 driver kext that drives second display, preferrably in mirror mode
- working bluetooth would be nice to sync my smartphone, but external usb bluetooth is an option if all else fails - only needed occasionally
- working sleep/awake would be nice but to me boot is incredibly fast so I can live without for the moment.

Any and all pointers welcome.
Also, is there a list of suitable kexts for the x300 compiled and available? If not I'd be glad to post mine - output form kextstat does include version info.

Thanks, Frankfurter
