TrackPoint / Ultranav Issue?

#1 Post by imulic » Tue Sep 22, 2009 2:54 pm

I am badly in need of a solution for Trackpoint / Ultranav on my T61 !?

I have installed iAtkos v7 10.5.7 and during the install ultranav was working but after no!?

I used VoodooPs2Controller to make my touch pad work but I need ultranav to work.

Thanks.

Side question:

With this iatkos version are you having any issues with any devices / needing drivers?

Technojunkie has a driver set which enables trackpoint in both 10.5 and 10.6 but unfortunately the Voodoo driver enables multitouch on the synaptics. So you get to pick. Multitouch or trackpoint. I cannot get both to work at the same time

Just download his driver dmg file and look for the ApplePS2Controller.kext

Make sure to disable VoodooPS2 if you do this.

@crashnburn, on my T61 6457 I can not make azalia audio driver to work, no wifi, nvidia nvs no QE support (i don't need it but it will be good if they actually fix that issue)

no sleep, battery meter and powermanagement works, high resolution change in com.apple.Boot.plist
trackpoint doesnt work but bozzila posted down that I could make it work

the only issue is trackpoint for me I am so used to it that I simply can not work without it
