T61 w NVidia NVS140M + OSX + Adv Mini Dock + 30" 2560 x 1600

Thanks to Erik and some more TP veterans I was able to make the following work:

T61 w NVidia NVS 140M with Windows XP Pro
Adv Mini Dock
Connect via DVI (Dual Link DVI-D Cable)
Gateway XHD 3000 at 2560 x 1600.

Yes. The Dual link DVI Cable came with the Gateway XHD 3000. I got 2560 x 1600 with T61 8992 02U Nvidia with Adv Mini Dock (Thanks to Erik and several other guys who gave me the info to go for this setup).

It also drives 2048 x ..... on the Gateway via the Standard old school CRT cable as well. What was that called again?

I am wondering if I can make the same happen for OSX86. I know the NVidia and NVInject stuff doesnt work perfectly and apparently the NVS140M is still not fully supported.

QUESTIONS:
- Is it possible to atleast get this running without the acceleration:QE/CI etc?
- If at all I want acceleration as well for this resolution is it possible to / should I go the route of... getting an Advanced Dock 2503-10U which allows adding a PCI-X Video card of my choice.

Essentially I'd have a 30" Apple Cinema Setup with using Thinkpad Laptop + Gateway 30" Screen

The question is now that of the VIDEO CARD & OSX86 HACK / DRIVERS / KEXT that would make it work.. through an Adv Mini Dock or Adv Dock + Video Card.

I have both a T60p and a T61p, each with four monitors. Just get a docking station and an ATI V5200 video card to put in the dock's expansion bay. Two of the monitors come from the T6x unit (one DVI, one internal or VGA), and the other two come from the V5200 card.

(A lot of talk about multiple monitor setups, video cards, 4 monitor setups esp in Financial Markets)

Since T61 > Adv Mini Dock > 30" LCD is plainly DVI-D PASSTHROUGH... The PASS THROUGH should work for any OS right? That would include OSX?
