did anyone try install OSX in X301

My Macbook is going to die soon, and now I am looking for a ultrapotable to replace my MB. After comparing with the Macbook Air and X301, I perfer X301 more, as it is well-equiped compare with the MBA.

However, as I need using iweb in my work, I wonder if I can install MacOSX 10.5 or 10.6 in the X301 and if it function well.

so can anyone help?

It will not work. The Intel GMA X4500 is not supported by either 10.5 or 10.6.

Your best option is to sell the X301 and buy a X300.

GMA4500 are still not supported even with the new macbookpro update ("GMA HD" 5700?).
You can get native resolution with a custom bootloader but no QE ...

more than a year has passed since then and... do you know if any of these osx gurus have found a solution for the x4500 yet?
Would be nice to try a sl distro in x301... or maybe even on a x200s ...

I'd consider adding dual boot to Yosemite or El Capitan on my X301. Possible (even with low res graphics)?
