cant find external USB Harddisk or USB Stick after 10.6.6 OS

Hello guys,
i am have an emergency case here....
After update to 10.6.6. OS ( on IBM T 60) i cant find my external USB Harddisk or external USB Stick.
Other USB Devices (Audio) are found and work... Can you help me or is there someone who had the same problem ?
