Lenovo ThinkPad X121e with an AMD cpu! Mac Os x?

Hey you,

does anybody know if it is possible to put a mac os x on a Lenovo ThinkPad X121e
WITH NO INTEL CPU BUT AN
AMD?


please help!

i'm surely no expert on this but my guess is yes..
remember, osx et al are for the intel chip and the amd chips emulate or have an identical instruction set..
unless osx does a check and bombs when it seens something other than the intel chip..

Thanks Bill, that was fast!

I just want to get sure that it will work before I am going to buy it!

Besides it makes more than 100€ more for a slower cpu!

the AMD Fusion E-350 Prozessor (1,6 GHz), Dual-Core
to the
Intel Core i3-2357M Prozessor (1,3 GHz), Dual-Core

bear in mind this is NOT for sure, only that i SUSPECT it will work..

wait a bit for confirmation from other forum members.. :)
