touch pad temporary disable

#1 Post by cresscherry » Thu Mar 29, 2012 5:09 pm

I have a Lenovo V560. I often disable the touch pad so I don't brush against it while word processing. I can do this with Fn/F8. However, it used to be that I got a confirmation icon on my screen when I disabled (an image of a screen with a slash through it). Best Buy recently wiped out all my settings and now I can't seem to get that icon back. It's really helpful to have. Does anyone know how to reset this? Thanks.

Not sure if it isn't too late - (re)installing energy management should solve your issue.
