When I install Mandriva Linux I have deleted recovery partition but before I have made 6 cd's (create rescue and recovery media).
How I can recover recovery partition ( eisa configuration) ?
p.s. Mandriva Linux 2007 is ok, X, sound ... all works well.

Welcome to the Thinkpad Forum
As you already made the 6 CD RnR set, all you have to do is to use them. They will restore everything back to the factory image including the HPA and Windows XP OS.
Good to hear Madriva works fine on it.

Just boot from the first cd , sit back and relax...
Have in mind that restoring the original configuration will erase Linux.

I don't think he made the cd's before wiping the partitions.
In that case a set of recovery discs will be needed.
Remove all partitions and then run the cd's.

you may have to result in extreme measures and obtain a cd of xp... that's if you want to put xp back on. i wiped out my restore partition. i made a copy of an xp home oem disc. i used it to reinstall xp and used the xp product key on the underside.
