ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software - this program is compatible with my computer?

From the thinkpad fingerprint software document id ... here is what it says:

Note: This software is not supported on 3000 Family desktops or 3000 Family notebooks with integrated fingerprint reader.

Omnipass is the software for Finger Print Reading

You should use Omnipass software for a Lenovo 3000 Series. You can obtain the software from www.softexinc.com

The page you requested has moved.

I've found OmniPass on my hard drive and I\ve installed this software and it is OK.

I don't understand why they add some other software if they have ThinkVantage...

You should have either RnR or an analog thereof on your Lenovo N100; in the RnR option set, you have the choice to make the recovery media, a full image of your system from factory state, or the rescue media. :)

Hello Rampe, which version did you install ? Omnipass & Authentec Fingerprint reader driver ? Which Fingerprint Reader Firmware & Trueprint Fingerprint Sensor Software version? I experienced same problems with "opvapp.exe" error.

One more thing, System Update does'nt update Omnipass.
