I have a brand new 0768-A52. A lot of my software will not run right under Vista so I wiped the laptop and did a reload. I could not get audio running so I wiped it again and reloaded once again while documenting my exact steps to turn in to IBM/Lenovo support for assistance.

On the second load, with assistance from these forums, I did get audio working. the one thing that I forgot to check was the wireless hardware under the device manager. I could have sworn that I had seen multiple wireless adapters for a, b, and g.

Currently I only see a Broadcom 802.11g network adapter. Will this support a and b as well? Why are there 2 sets of Intel drivers on the Lenovo driver site? I am going to be travelling for a couple of months and I want to make sure that I am not limited on wireless capability.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Wireless cards are backwards compatible as a rule (meaning I've never found one that wasn't). It should work just fine on wireless B. If you are really concerned with it, you should be able to get on your router (if you don't know how, you can google it) and turn off wireless G to test it. as for the two driver, I have no Idea. I installed them both and have a wireless card in the device manager that doesn't work. I have no idea what it is and both g and b still work.

Hope this helps!
