I just ordered a v100 that came with vista business and want to do a clean install of xppro.
I have donea gazillion clean installs of dells (mainly) and some hps too, but the driver page for the v100 is pretty intimidating.
I ususally just install the intel stuff, graphics, wireless, lan, peripheral drivers. Will I be missing something important ?
Thanks for the help.
Also, best case for the lappy? Leather preferred, also best sleeve.

here is the driver and downloads page..
its not so daunting..

start here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... LENOVO#rdt

i would just install XP..

it should have most drivers needed and if not i'll bet you have alternate internet connectivity so you can download the needed drivers and utilities and load them..

i have no suggestion for a carry case..
most thinkpad users like the waterfield sleeve..
