Trying to decide on C200 or R60

#1 Post by GhostriderTx » Sun May 20, 2007 3:30 pm

Both are close in price. I have read about some of the driver issues on the C200. Are these on Windows XP or Vista or both. This machine will be for a family member I want to make sure there are as few issues as possible. Any thoughts on which model are appreciated.

If they are close in price I'd go with the R series unit personally. I've had great luck with my 3.5 year old R40. I've never owned a Lenovo branded unit but I've checked them over a few times at Office Max (or Depot?) and they seem OK, but given the choice and all else nearly equal, I'd get the R. Good luck.

The R60 is better in my own opinion. How do they plan to use it and what are the specs?

Another vote for R60.

If you're lucky and the machine is still available you might look into buying an R60 from here.
