Does anyone know about Lenovo's dead pixel policy. I know I have 1 for sure and am watching a couple other spots for dead pixels. I finally get the machine just the way I want it and now DEAD PIXELS.
Please post any experiences, suggestions on the subject
Thx
Jack

Thanks for the info.
Does anyone know if dead pixels showing up about 4-5 months after a purchase might signal a defective screen.
I like the N100 a lot, and a couple dead pixels dont bother me. What worries me is weather the dead pixels are a signs of problems with the screen down the road. I had to save for about a year to get this system, so this thing has to work out for atleast the next 2 years

Sir, not really. Actually, dead pixels occur due to the
manufacturing defect in the lcd, at times customers have even reported of finding them on brand new out of the box notebooks and at others these things rarely pop up in the entire life span of a pc. You can read some useful information on dead pixels
here.
Notebooks with dead pixels have continued to function very normally like others, infact I had one for few years until I gave it away to someone.
Good luck with your notebook and thanks for choosing lenovo.
