I have a 3000/N200 in france and already have a 'power knight' style 12v-15/16/20/14v transformer as I live in a truck & no 220v .. but can't find the yellow 20v centre pin end to plug into laptop . Any ideas , or cheap sources (in europe, not US) for a suitable unit , but preferably not a fixed end one which can only be used on one type of machine ?

Are you looking for one of these? Presumably type C?

If you go to an electronics shop, you should be able to get a female plug that fits on one of the other tips you have, and get the male plug in the size (C) you need, then solder that together.

Or see if Maplin has your tip.
They deliver to France as well.

what is the correct adapter head ??

..thanks but nope all those links are usefull for the older IBM machines like my R40 think pad ... my Trust branded 12v dc unit already has all the a-g heads , none of which are suitable .
one company G-batteries in uk and france sells something with a type 15 head on it which might be ok as the P/N number 92P1154 is correct but the N200 isn't specifically listed ..nor after 4 attempts can they answer my question..
so if someone can say if all lenovo 3000 series have the same male plug ? if so whats the electronic referance letter/code for it ?

I think you may need the N29 tip.

Thanks for the advice , I now have the correct 12/20 unit with a C15 end , unfortunately it only came with this one and not the selection offered by other companys .
Anyone else searching for this unit try Googling ref: ANB004C15 and that'll give worldwide sellers of this unit.!
