I just upgraded the stock 1.66 Ghz Core 2 to a 2Ghz model.
I know that both processors seem to run hot monitored by Speedfan or 'Notebook Hardware Control' utilities, the temperature is in the 48-51 celcius range under light load. The fan is running at slow speed. I am using high quality zalman thermal grease.
Is this normal for this notebook and thinkpads and the like???
Thanks,
Phil
