Hi,

I have a lenovo 3000 c200 with xp home edition. Because of eating too much space on my hdd i uninstalled rescue and recovery before i created recovery disk. Then partition my c drive into c and e. Everything worked fine. Later i realized that i missed the recovery disks. So i have downloaded the rescue and recovery 4.21 from lenovo site. Installed it. Works fine. But when i want to create the recovery disks, after extracting files i have an error message of internal problems, then it shuts off. I can not believe there is no way to get the recovery disks. Is there any solution? Experts said i need to buy them from lenovo. That is fine, but in Hungary lenovo said it is not available for me, since warranty is over. I have paid for it...Please help to find a solution. thanks

The program creates recovery CD from the recovery partition that you deleted and added to your root drive (C:\). You cannot create recovery CDs. You will either need to obtain a set of factory recovery CDs, or find an OEM Windows install CD. You can use Nlite to add drivers to the install CD for the computer if you would like because you will need to download them and install them once you do a clean install CD.
